"We Thomas Smith and Henry Humby who in the 27th of May last were overseers of the Poor of the parish of Saint John Hampstead in the County of Middlesex do Swear That the above Return contains to the best of our Knowledge and Belief a full and true Answer to the Questions contained in the Schedule to an Act intituled ' An Act for taking an Account of the Population of Great Britain and of the Increase or Diminution thereof.' The above mentioned Thomas Smith and Henry Humby were Sworn before us the Justices of the Peace in and for the said county of Middlesex this 13th Day of July 1811. [signed] Thos Smith Henry Humby." |
