"An Account of the Population of the Town of Folkestone in Kent under the Act of the Mst Geo 3d Chap 15" referring to the Populations Act of King George the Third. |
Additional Information: |
This record was compiled in two books, one of which is a copy, though both from 1801. Book 1 is from images 4-70 and Book 2 is from images 76-135. The rest is about the populations act. Both were referenced in this return.
"RV" is for Registered Vessel.
Some names are listed in the Uninhabited column which is also labeled with "Late" at the top of each page. This presumably indicates that these names are people who were deceased when the census was taken but they had lived in that house.
