Includes answers to all 1811 Census questions. Occupation for each household is indicated by a "T" for trade, "O" for other [ie. neither], and no indicator for agriculture. Households with no "T" or "O" are assumed to be in agriculture based on the totals and town history/location. |

Additional Information: |
"Street" listed as place name may be referring to the main road that runs through Bramley: Horsham Road. Thorncombe Road is an adjoining hamlet. Gosden Commons is a nearby set of houses now located just off the village green.
Brackets indicate when multiple families occupy the same household. This assumption accurately accounts for the discrepancy in totals of Houses vs Families.
The document is signed at the end by Jno Arnold and Jos Stilwell, Churchwardens, and G Chandler and W Puttock, Overseers. |
