Additional Information: |
The words "Brought forward" and "Taken June 1827" are repeatedly written in large letters at various places on many of the pages. It seems that some information on many of the pages was taken in a previous year (1824?). Family information records each child's age immediately after "G [Girl]" or "B [Boy]", sometimes with individual earnings of each child below. Often, the employer info is actually just the location where the person works. Allowances and Pensions are often recorded using the notation # of shillings ("2s") / # of pence ("6d"). If it is just one shilling without any pence, it looks like 1s/- or 1s/.. or simply 1/. |
