An addition to the standard questions for the year 1821, there is a question that asks for the "Persuasion" of each household. The answer is usually E. C., but in some instances appears as R. C. or Dist. It likely refers to religious affiliation, with E. C. referring to the Established Church, R. C. referring to the Roman Catholic church, Qr. referring to Quakers, and Disr. referring to dissenters.
It also includes the specific farm or area in which each family lived. |

Answer: The Increase of this Account on that of 1811, is but few, but which I conceive to be caused by the number that have Emigrated of late years from this Parish to Newfoundland, and other Places.

Answer: The Number of Inhabitants of this Parish are divided in the following manner. (Viz.)
Members of the Established Church: 534 males, 600 females, 1134 total.
Roman Catholics: 45 males, 50 females, 95 total.
Quakers: 4 males, 6 females. 10 total.
Dissenters: 16 males, 18 females, 34 total.

This Account is to be preserved by the Churchwardens, and Overseers of the Poor, in succession, in order for referring to at any future period, agreeable to the order in the within named Act.
